Ramadan Iftar for the Economic Empowerment and Food Security Program “Rooftops Planting  ”

The Economic Empowerment and Food Security Program “Rooftops Planting ” of Social and Cultural Nashet Association organized a Ramadan Iftar at Akbar Al-Baramiya Restaurant – Saida, in the presence of the Association’s head Minister, Mr. Zafer Al-Khatib, Program Director Wafaa Issa, and the program’s beneficiaries.
At the ceremony, the program director, Wafaa Issa, talked about the idea of ​​the project, its beginning and its expansion, stressing on the importance of food security for the Palestinian family through its economic empowerment through working at home. Also, Issa announced the start of preparations for the fourth phase, which will include an important development in the agricultural program. In turn, the Engineer Suleiman Suleiman, the supervisor of the Rooftops Planting project, stressed on the importance of organic farming free of any chemicals. At the end of the ceremony, a financial reward was distributed to the most active family in the project, and then the attendance gathered at the breakfast table prepared by Zewadetna’s kitchen.
