Nashet Association Implements Psychologically Supportive Recreational Activities at Naqoura and Hittin Schools
Cultural and Social Nashet Association implemented a series of recreational and psychologically supportive activities at Naqoura and Hittin Schools over several phases, in coordination with the UNRWA Education Zone and in cooperation with the schools’ administrations and teaching staff. These activities aimed to enhance students’ mental health and alleviate their daily stress through recreational and interactive programs that address their psychological and social needs. A group seminar for beneficiaries of the Rooftop Agriculture Project to monitor agricultural work and enhance quality.
The agricultural project, affiliated with the Cultural and Social Nashet Association, organized a group seminar attended by all beneficiaries of the “Rooftop Agriculture” project in Ein al-Hilweh camp. This was part of the ongoing monitoring of agricultural stages and monitoring the progress of work on the ground. The seminar aimed to review individual agricultural experiences and discuss the challenges faced by participants over the past weeks. The “Nashet Torch” Youth Team in Ein al-Hilweh Camp organized an awareness meeting titled “Opening Guns at Events.” The meeting was facilitated by political activist and human rights and development expert Manal Qartam, along with a number of young men and women from the camp. The meeting highlighted the recurring phenomenon of indiscriminate gunfire during weddings and other events, which often results in civilian casualties and sometimes loss of life.
