Lemon trees decorate the roofs and enrich the table

Due to the insane increase in lemon prices during the last period, a great number of families were forced to abandon it and dispense with it… An idea was born that today has turned into an implementation step.

The Food Security and Economic Empowerment Program has added the surface cultivation project of the Nashet Association to the tents designated for growing seasonal vegetables…. They added a barrel for planting a monthly lemon tree capable of meeting the needs of more than five families of lemon fruit.

The project prepared all the logistical requirements and provided the necessary knowledge to plant the tree and familiarity with the appropriate care for it under the supervision of the project engineer Mr. Suleiman.
